Hi, my name is Sandy Thorpe and I am an evidential medium. Not that long ago, I couldn't have imagined saying that! While I have been on a spiritual path for decades, I have lived a very left-brained, analytical life, first as a computer programmer and later switching gears to become a health care professional. So how did I get from there to here?

I always have believed that there is an afterlife. Growing up, I was intrigued by ESP, metaphysics, and mediumship, and throughout my life, I have also been aware of and guided by my intuition. But my analytical side has always wished for proof. Following a series of synchronicities (those seemingly magical “coincidences” which are almost always the result of spirit intervening in our lives), I was led to a book called Wolf’s Message written by Suzanne Giesemann.

And what an “aha” moment that was! The credibility of Suzanne’s work as an evidential medium ~ after her prior life as a top level Navy commander ~ combined with the amazing, evidential aspects of Wolf’s story, were the final pieces of the spiritual puzzle for me. As a result of reading Wolf’s Message, I experienced a spiritual awakening which set me on a direct path to the sacred work I do today.

The first step I took on this awakened journey was to begin a consistent meditation practice. It wasn’t long before I had a spiritually transformative experience (STE) when a dear friend’s wife (who had transitioned a year earlier) came to me in meditation! Following spirit’s nudge, I took several workshops to explore my psychic and mediumistic abilities. I discovered that I (as we all do) have natural abilities which extend beyond what our five senses tell us is real.

I jumped in feet first and began doing practice readings to further develop my mediumistic abilities. I have been fortunate to have studied extensively with Suzanne Giesemann. I have also enhanced my own abilities and knowledge by taking courses from a number of other evidential mediums and spiritual teachers. In doing so, I moved from believing to knowing that we all are connected to our loved ones, spiritual helpers and Source, God, the Divine (whatever name resonates with you).

In time, I began hearing words of inspiration while in meditation. I started writing down what came to me and later discovered this is an ancient spiritual practice called inspired writing. I keep my appointment with spirit daily and as a result, receive beautiful inspired messages of Love, hope and healing from my spiritual Team. In 2017, I started sharing these messages publicly at YouAreLoveNow.com.

As an evidential medium, I strongly believe in the sacredness of mediumship. My intention is to be a clear vessel and a bridge connecting people to their deceased loved ones. Mediumship is a three-way connection among the sitter (you), those in spirit (your departed loved ones), and the medium. When these connections are strong, open, and flowing, communication can come through in ways mediums refer to as “the clairs.” This may include clairvoyance (clear seeing), clairaudience (clear hearing), clairsentience (clear feeling), and claircognizance (clear knowing). Given a clear channel, those in spirit will provide evidence; pieces of information the medium could not know. Such evidence can provide assurance to the sitter that the connection is real.

This sacred work of mediumship is my greatest joy. My hope and my mission is to be a humble servant of God, Source, the Divine, connecting people with their loved ones with evidence and integrity. Mediumship is a gift of Love, bringing healing to the broken-hearted, answering sometimes lifelong questions, and allowing people to move forward knowing that love and life are eternal. This work is a gift of Love and Love is what makes all things possible!
